When the temperatures hit triple digits the last thing I want to do is to peel shorts-clad legs off of leather or vinyl furniture.  So my out door chairs have always had no cushions, or, machine washable pillow and seat covers.  For those with screened porches,  you know how dust and pollen gets trapped inside, so being able to launder the outdoor fabrics is essential to keeping them clean.  Here are some easy care pieces and fabrics to keep you cool this summer.
Lloyd Flanders makes an all weather wicker which you can literally hose off which makes it a kid friendly option when paired with washable seat cushions.
I’m not a fan of full matched sets of outdoor furniture, but a 2, 3 or 4  chairs with some personality or design interest look like they have been collected over time, when mixed with some simple occasional seating pieces.
